No one can deny the popularity of Salman Khan. He is the King of Box Office. He has given golden blockbusters in recent times. People love him. His fans eagerly wait to see Salman Khan either on Silver screen or on Small Screen.

Salman Khan is hosting the third consecutive season of Bigg Boss and the reason is that when Salman hosted his first season which was Bigg Boss season four, the show was taken to the new level. High TRPs and huge popularity and this is why Salman Khan is considered as a favorite Host for Bigg Boss.

Last year Salman Khan did not hosted the entire season of Bigg Boss five because he was busy shooting for Ek Tha Tiger in overseas and that is why Sanjay Dutt hosted most of the shows in previous season but this season Salman will rock the show from day one till the end of the show.

Not only this, Salman Khan will be paid from 3.8 to 4 crore per episode which is the highest till date. And why not, he is the man who drives the audience.

Aamir Khan (Satyamev Jayate, Rs. 3 crore per episode), Shah Rukh Khan (Total Wipeout: Zor Ka Jhatka, Rs. 2 crore per episode), Hrithik Roshan (Just Dance, Rs. 2 crore per episode), and Akshay Kumar (Khatron Ke Khiladi season four, Rs. 1.5 crore per episode). Amitabh Bachchan, though, is in a different league altogether. He has signed a whopping deal of Rs. 100 crore for three seasons of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Salman Khan and his entire family loves to watch Bigg Boss and this season Salman wants some change in the show. According to Salman, this season will be a family season ( Family Show ).

A source close to Salman says:

Salman relates to Bigg Boss because of the concept and its appeal. He appreciates the fact that the show allows people who are usually misunderstood to prove themselves in the house. The public too loves watching his real side and he gets a chance to meet people from all walks of life. The fact that he insisted that the show become family-oriented and air at 9 pm, shows his involvement and interest in it.
