When you are the most popular star of your country, there is always a security risk with you because many time the fans go out of control. Same is the case with India's Biggest Superstar Salman Khan. Before Salman Khan was having 6 beefy Bodyguards around him to provide security during events, shooting and all but now due to increase in his popularity he had to increase the Bodyguards too. Recently Salman Khan added 6 more Bodyguards for his security taking the total number of Bodyguard to 12. Highest number of Bodyguards for any Superstar in the Industry !

Recently Arbaaz Khan went Lucknow and Kanpur for the shoot of Dabangg 2 but when the team of Dabangg 2 saw sea of fans waiting for Salman Khan, they left the place and cancel the shoot. The Fans were Laathicharged by the police. When Dabangg 2 shooting was started earlier this year, Salman Khan recreated Kanpur in Mumbai due to security reasons.

The back to back huge Blockbusters have made Salman Khan THE BIGGEST STAR of INDIA. He enjoys unbelievable highest Fan Following in India. According to Times Of India:

Salman's head of security Shera confirmed that the security deployed for the actor has indeed been beefed up by 100 per cent. "Earlier, Bhai had six bouncers around him. Now, he has twelve," he said. Reportedly, the actor had to cancel the shoot of his brother Arbaaz's directorial Dabangg 2 in Lucknow due to security reasons. In fact, Arbaaz had told the media, "It's been chaotic here. We didn't bring Salman. He will now join us directly at Satara for the shooting of the climax. But the people here gathered in hordes for the shooting in the outdoors probably in the hope that Salman would turn up. And when he didn't, they got restless."

However, that was not the only provocation for Salman to beef up his team of guards. Apparently, it was right after Ek Tha Tiger released, when the actor felt the need to call in more security. It was during Eid, when fans waiting outside Galaxy Apartments, his Bandra residence, went out of control one fine day. "We had a tough time outside Bhai's residence on Eid. The fans went out of control and the cops had to resort to lathi charge," Shera, the man who has been closest to Salman for the last 15 years told TOI..

Not only in India but Salman Khan have a huge fan following in overseas too. Early this year when Salman went Dubai for the launch of Being Human products, he was welcomed by thousands of fans.
