Father Salim Khan to Head Sher Khan Script

The man who wrote Blockbuster scripts back in 1970's and 80's is back in 2012. Father of Salman Khan, Mr. Salim Khan who is called as Salim Saab wrote Blockbusters like Sholay, Don, Zanjeer and many more. Now after a long long time, Salim Saab is back. But this time he will not write the script but he will head the script of Sher Khan.

Sher Khan is Sohail Khan's dream project which also includes Salman Khan as the lead actor. Few days back Sher Khan was confirmed to be started in October this year. The script of the film will be written by Dilip Shukla and Rumi Jaffery but Salim Khan will head the team. Means Salim Khan will help the writers to write a Strong Script for Sher Khan. Talking to Times Of India, Sohail Khan says:

My father is the script doctor on the project. He's guiding all of us. We all are counting on him to make Sher Khan one of the most special films in Bhai's ( Salman Khan) career.

Salim Khan himself talked to Times Of India and confirmed this news saying:

I am there in the script writing process of Sher Khan to point out their mistakes and not to breathe down their necks. I don't want to take away the credit from whatever those kids are doing."

"I like to nurture talent as much as trees. I've to admit they're capable of looking after the script. But since they've asked me to help, I presume they think I'm better informed and cleverer than them.
